I am a lifelong Animal Welfare advocate. When
any animal ends up in a shelter, or other rescue situation, they are often suffering from neglect in many ways.
A good grooming promotes health, a sense of well being, and makes them a better adoption prospect. Wherever possible
I gladly offer my services as a Professional Groomer, as well as my animal handling and rehabilitation skills, free of
charge to my local animal shelters, rescue organizations, Veterinarians, and others that are as dedicated to a cruelty free
world for animals as I am.

Shelters and Organized Rescue Groups
Whenever you get a matted, flea infested rescue animal, the first thing that should be
done after any immediate Veterinary visit is grooming. This not only makes the animal more comfortable, it helps
protect the other animals in your care. Presenting an attractive, well groomed pet makes adoptions easier and faster, so you
dont end up with long term guests. This is one of the ways I enjoy participating in local rescue efforts. Please feel

Another very effective adoption tool I have found worked well in the past is to provide
a coupon for a free grooming visit with every adoption kit. This promotes buisness for the groomer as well as makes adoption
an easier process. The particulars should be worked out in advance for better results.

Animals that serve the Community
Police Dogs, Search and rescue dogs and horses, Dogs that aid the handicapped, therapy
animals, firehouse pets, there are many ways that animals serve our communities. My way of thanking them for their good work
is to make their care easier and more affordable for their caretakers. I like to meet with the pet and their person and set
up regular visits with a discounted flat rate.The flat rate is all inclusive, so the animals needs are met without the handler
having to budget in extra charges. Scheduling regular appointments makes it easy to keep our helpers in their best shape
possible!
